Momentum Dance Company to Tour with Matsena Productions

Momentum Dance are working with Matsena Productions in preparation for their UK company tour!

Following the success of the first platform of ‘Shades of Blue’ by Matsena Productions, the company were supported by Arts Council England to undergo a research and development period. This phase of R&D for the project took place in April in the CAPA College state-of-the-art facilities.

Momentum Dance were invited to take part in a company class as well as having the opportunity to participate in the R&D process for two days.

Young people in Momentum Dance were part of discussions and practical explorations regarding the key focus of this new piece which is about, “the power of protest and longing for freedom and peace” (Matsena Productions).

This exciting project will continue into 2022.
