Enhance Academy Trust, formerly known as WDAT (Wakefield Diocesan Academies Trust), was incorporated as a charitable company on 10 January 2012 – company number 07904096. The Trust was established to act as a sponsor for the Church of England and to sponsor local academies.
In September 2018, Enhance Academy Trust launched CAPA College as Wakefield’s first DfE-funded Free School.
