New Home
In September 2022 we opened the doors to our new multi-million-pound, state-of-the-art facilities on Mulberry Way (opposite Wakefield Westgate train station). This enabled us to double our student intake and significantly expand our outreach and education programme to offer more classes and projects; host touring companies and special events; and establish a new Centre for Arts Entertainment in the heart of West Yorkshire.
Bespoke Facilities
The CAPA College team worked with ESFA, designers and developers in the design process to create inspiring, bespoke, industry standard facilities. The new CAPA College home is a centre for excellence in the arts with dance, drama and singing studios, media suites, film studio, design suites, production workshops and theatres.
Perfect Location
CAPA College students travel from across the North of England to attend. CAPA College’s new home is the perfect location for ease of commute ensuring ease of access for students wherever they live. CAPA College new home is directly over the road from Wakefield Westgate Train Station – the main Leeds to London train line. The free Wakefield City Bus, from the Bus Station and Wakefield Kirkgate Train Station, runs every 10-minutes and stops directly outside CAPA College too.
